1. General principles
Everything on the Samrei platform must be legal in the markets where it is shown, honest towards users and safe for the partners on the other side of the transaction. We review every property and every creative before it goes live and keep reviewing afterwards. We may decline, pause or remove anything, at any time, and apply the stricter interpretation whenever a rule is unclear.
2. Prohibited content and products
The following may not be advertised or monetised through the platform:
- Illegal products, services or activities, or anything that facilitates them.
- Malware, spyware, phishing, deceptive software, unauthorised data collection or any attempt to compromise a device.
- Counterfeit goods and infringement of copyrights, trademarks or other rights.
- Content that depicts or promotes violence, hatred, harassment or discrimination against any person or group.
- Content that sexualises minors, in any form, or any content involving exploitation.
- Weapons, explosives, drugs and drug paraphernalia, except where legal and expressly approved in writing.
- Deceptive financial offers, pyramid schemes, "get rich quick" schemes and unlicensed financial services.
- Misleading health claims, unapproved medicines and miracle cures.
- Any category that is restricted by law or by our payment and infrastructure partners.
Certain regulated categories (for example gambling, alcohol or financial services) may be permitted only with prior written approval, valid licences, and geographic and age restrictions.
3. Creative standards for advertisers
- No deceptive creatives: fake system warnings, imitation UI elements, fake play buttons, fake close buttons or misleading claims.
- The landing page must match what the creative promises and must clearly identify the advertiser.
- No auto-downloads, auto-redirects, excessive pop-ups, trapping users or interfering with the publisher's page.
- No cloaking: the reviewer must see what the user sees. Different content by geography or device must be disclosed.
- Creatives must respect size, weight and animation limits published in the Platform documentation.
- Collection of personal data on landing pages must be lawful, transparent and consented where required.
4. Property and traffic standards for publishers
- Properties must contain original, substantive content with a genuine audience and a published privacy policy.
- Properties must not be under construction, parked, auto-generated, scraped or primarily designed to display ads.
- Only human traffic is permitted. Bots, incentivised clicks, click farms, purchased or redirected traffic, auto-refresh and hidden or stacked placements are prohibited.
- Ad tags must be placed as documented and must never encourage accidental clicks or be labelled misleadingly.
- Publishers must honour user consent choices and pass consent signals to the Platform where required.
- Publishers may not display ads on properties they do not own or are not authorised to monetise.
5. Platform conduct
- No attempts to circumvent review, quality systems, rate limits or security controls.
- No scraping of the Platform, reverse engineering or interference with other partners' accounts.
- Accurate information must be maintained at all times, including ownership of properties and company details.
6. If these standards are not met
We raise issues with the partner first and resolve most of them together: a creative may be paused, a placement adjusted or a property removed until it complies. Settlement for traffic that did not meet these standards may be withheld, and repeated or serious issues may lead to suspension or the end of the relationship, as set out in the Terms and conditions. Concerns can be sent to [email protected].
7. Changes
This policy evolves with the law, our partners' requirements and what we learn. The current version is always published here with its date.
