Trust & safety
A marketplace is only as good as its rules
Everything that runs on Samrei is reviewed before it runs and measured while it runs. This page explains how, so that advertisers, publishers and users know what to expect.
Safeguards
Six areas we invest in
Partner vetting
Every advertiser and every publisher is reviewed by a person before approval: company details, website or app, content and ownership. A careful marketplace is a safer one for everyone in it.
Creative review
Each creative and landing page is checked against our Acceptable use policy and the laws of the markets it targets before it serves, and periodically afterwards.
Traffic quality
Layered pre-bid filtering and post-bid validation identify automated, incentivised and otherwise invalid traffic. It is removed from statistics before anyone is billed or paid.
Brand safety controls
Publishers block categories, advertisers or creatives. Advertisers exclude placements and categories. Both sides see where their money went.
Data protection
We process personal data under a documented privacy policy, use consent signals where the law requires them and fall back to contextual delivery where consent is absent.
Security
Encryption in transit, role-based access, audit logging and regular review of our infrastructure and our providers.
Review process
From application to ongoing partnership
- 1
Application
Company details, website or app, ownership and intended use are checked by a person. Incomplete or inconsistent applications are declined.
- 2
Onboarding
Properties and creatives are reviewed against the Acceptable use policy before anything serves. Regulated categories need written approval.
- 3
In operation
Automated quality scoring runs continuously; a review team samples live placements and creatives and acts on reports from partners and users.
- 4
Follow-up
When something falls short, we talk to the partner first: a creative is paused or a placement adjusted, and the account continues once it is resolved. Only repeated or serious issues end a partnership.
Report a concern
Seen something that should not be there?
Advertisers, publishers and members of the public can report a creative, a landing page or a property. Include the URL or a screenshot and where you saw it. Reports are read by a person and acted on, and we reply when we have an outcome.
